1. THE POWERHOUSE + FARMER’S PUBLIC MARKET
Located in the Downtown Farmers Market, Powerhouse has exploded in popularity with the locals and sparked a resurgence at the Farmer’s Market. They offer a killer Chile Pork Verde, along with handcrafted cocktails, wine, local craft beers and roasted coffee. On Saturdays, they have a made from scratch brunch and drink specials from noon to 3pm. Then meander over to the Farmers Market, happening every Saturday from 9am until 2 pm, where you’ll find locally sourced produce, meats, honey, baked goods, and more.

Each First Friday of the month, The historic Paseo Arts District offers special themed exhibits, refreshments, and guest artists. Dozens of galleries, three restaurants and a handful of shops stand in distinctive Spanish Mission Revival style buildings, all within walking distance. The walk starts on Friday at 6pm and lasts until 10pm, rain or shine. Some galleries offer lite refreshments and two food trucks will be available. When hunger strikes, grab a patio seat at Picasso Cafe or Paseo Grill.
